Manchester City 1981–82 football season
The 1981–82 season was Manchester City 's 80th season of competitive football and 62nd season in the top division of English football.[ 1] In addition to the First Division, the club competed in the FA Cup and Football League Cup . On New Years Day of 1982, the club were top of the league, but after poor second half of the season which saw them win only 5 league games in 22, the club ended up finishing 10th.
