Note: This match was scheduled for 22 January 2017. However due to heavy fog, the plane carrying Dortmund's team could not land safely in Erfurt. The match was subsequently postponed to a later date.[1]

However, due to the cancellation of the original match due to poor pitch conditions, the match was rescheduled to take place at the Stadion an der Bremer Brücke in Osnabrück.[5]
