16 February 2023: Tulsidas Balaram , 86, a forward . Along with P. K. Banerjee and Chuni Goswami , Balaram was part of an acclaimed trio of players that helped propel India into what is widely regarded as its golden age of football during the 1950s and 1960s.[ 33] [ 34]
6 March 2023: Kuppuswami Sampath , 75, a goalkeeper who played for the India national team squad that won a bronze medal at the 1970 Asian Games in Bangkok .[ 35]
