FA Cup

Sutton were drawn at home to AFC Fylde in the first round[53] and to either Barnsley or Horsham in the second round.[54] On 14 November, Barnsley won their replay 3–0 and were confirmed as the opponents for the U's,[55] However Barnsley were removed from the competition for fielding an ineligible player, therefore Horsham are now the second round visitors.[56] In the third round, the U's were drawn away to Plymouth Argyle.[57]
