2024 Bali gubernatorial election
The 2024 Bali gubernatorial election was held on 27 November 2024, as part of 2024 Indonesian local elections across Indonesia, to elect the governor and deputy governor of Bali for a five-year term (2025-2030). The 2024 Bali gubernatorial election competition is enlivened by 2 gubernatorial candidates, one of whom has a boxing background[1] and a Chairman of the Gerindra Party of Bali, namely Made Muliawan Arya known as De Gadjah, supported by several different parties that are members of Advanced Indonesia Coalition including Gerindra Party, Golkar Party, Democratic Party, PSI. Meanwhile, the other candidate is the former governor of Bali, namely I Wayan Koster who was controversial because of his rejection of the Israeli national team at the U20 World Cup in Bali in 2023, Koster was again supported by the Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle (PDI-P). Previously, Made Muliawan Arya was often compared to various other political figures in Bali.
