Early life

Born in Sydney, Nova Scotia, Reynolds was raised in Sydney River, Nova Scotia in a family with a strong presence in local radio. He was the first son in a family of four, consisting of a younger brother, mother, and father. From an early age, he developed a keen interest in radio, frequently visiting his uncle's morning show at local station CJCB.

Radio career

Reynolds began his radio career in Moncton, New Brunswick, as an afternoon announcer at CKCW-FM. He later worked at CFQM-FM, CJMO-FM, and CJXL-FM, refining his on-air and production skills. Reynolds then became the overnight host at CFNY-FM, frequently filling in for Martin Streek. In 2009, he returned to radio as an announcer at CKHZ-FM, earning top ratings in his time slot, and later helped launch Atlantic Canada’s first new rock station at CKHY-FM.

Reynolds' most notable role was as the host of Canada's Top 20 Countdown, a syndicated music countdown show that aired across Canada, aboard Air Canada flights, and through the Canadian Forces Network. The program was broadcast in 20 countries until its conclusion in 2019, marking Reynolds' transition into the technology and infrastructure sector.

Transition to Technology and Infrastructure

After wrapping up Canada's Top 20 Countdown, Reynolds founded EcoDrive NS, originally designed to develop electric vehicle charging infrastructure in rural Nova Scotia.
