Caroline Eugenie Lagerfelt (born September 23, 1947) is a French-born American actress, long based in the United States, recognized for her roles on Sweet Magnolias ,[ 1] Gossip Girl ,[ 2] Six Degrees [ 3] , Dirty Sexy Money [ 4] , Nash Bridges [ 5] and Beverly Hills, 90210 .[ 6]
Early life
Lagerfelt was born to Swedish diplomat and ambassador Baron Karl-Gustav Lagerfelt and Sara Champion de Crespigny, daughter of British major Vierville Champion de Crespigny and Nora (née McSloy).[ 7] She grew up in Japan, Austria, Switzerland, Luxembourg, Belgium and Sweden, and attended boarding school in England. She immigrated to the United States[ 8] and attended the American Academy of Dramatic Arts .[ 9]
