The Front paysan was a group founded in 1934^[1] and consisted of:

• The French Agrarian and Peasant Party
• The Comités de défense paysanne
• The Union nationale des syndicats agricoles

Jacques Le Roy Ladurie served as its general secretary. It published the journal Syndicats paysans.

In the 1935 Henry Dorgeres the founder of the Comités de défense paysanne stood unsuccessfully for the Loir-et-Cher department under the Front paysan's banner, where he was narrowly defeated in the second round of voting by the Radical-Socialist candidate Émile Laurens.^[2]
