Robinson grew up in Cordele, Georgia, and attended Crisp County High School before transferring to Lee County High School.[1] He was rated a four-star recruit and committed to play college football at South Carolina over offers from Auburn, Kentucky, and Tennessee.[2]
College career
Robinson began his career at South Carolina.[3] He was named a starter for the Gamecocks entering his freshman year and was named to the Southeastern Conference (SEC) All-Freshman team.[4] Robinson had 74 tackles with two tackles for loss, four passes broken up, and one interception as a sophomore.[5] Robinson transferred to Florida State in 2021.[6] He led the Seminoles with 85 tackles and four interceptions in his first season with the team.[7]
The Carolina Panthers selected Robinson with the 145th overall pick in the fifth round of the 2023 NFL draft.[10] As a rookie, he appeared in 15 games and made two starts. He recorded 17 total tackles in the 2023 season.[11]
Robinson was waived by the Panthers on December 13, 2024.[12]
Arizona Cardinals
On December 16, 2024, Robinson was claimed off waivers by the Arizona Cardinals.[13]
