Noam Baumann
Noam Baumann (born 10 April 1996) is a professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for J3 League club, SC Sagamihara. Born in Switzerland, he plays for the Dominican Republic national team.[1] Club careerBaumann begun his senior footballing career with Zug 94, and overcame knee injuries in his first season to become the starting goalie. He transferred to FC Wil on 11 February 2016.[2] Baumann then joined FC Lugano in the Swiss Super League on a loan with option to buy, on 15 March 2018.[2] Baumann made his professional debut for Lugano in a 2-1 Swiss Super League win over FC Sion on 22 July 2018.[3] On 30 July 2022, Baumann joined Saudi Arabian club Abha on a two-year deal.[4] On 6 August 2022, it was announced that the club and the player both agreed to cancel the contract mutually due to Baumann's partner's circumstances.[5] On 8 September 2022, Baumann signed with Ascoli in Italy until the end of the season, with an option to extend for two more years.[6] On 31 January 2023, Baumann's contract with Ascoli was terminated by mutual consent.[7] On 14 February 2023, Baumann returned to Wil until the end of the season, with an option to extend.[8] On 9 September 2023, OFI officially announced the signing of Baumann on a two-year contract.[9] On 21 January 2025, Baumann was abroad to Japan for the first time and signed to J3 club, SC Sagamihara for 2025 season.[10] International careerBaumann was born in Switzerland, to a Swiss father from Bern and a Dominican mother.[11] He was a youth international for Switzerland.[12][13][14][15][16] In March 2024, he was called up by the Dominican Republic national team.[17] He made his debut on 23 March 2024 in a friendly against Aruba.[18] Career statisticsClub
