Pishva County
Pishva County (Persian: شهرستان پیشوا) is in Tehran province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Pishva.[3] HistoryAfter the 2006 National Census, Pishva District was separated from Varamin County in the establishment of Pishva County, which was divided into two districts of two rural districts each, with Pishva as its capital and only city.[3] In 2019, the village of Jalilabad was elevated to the status of a city.[4] DemographicsPopulationAt the time of the 2011 census, the county's population was 75,454 people in 20,629 households.[5] The 2016 census measured the population of the county as 86,601, in 25,704 households.[2] Administrative divisionsPishva County's population history and administrative structure over two consecutive censuses are shown in the following table.
