The station currently operates the D-class (IB1) Inshore lifeboat Craig Morris (D-848), on station since 2020.[1]
Operations
The station is housed in a purpose built building, close to the coastguard and lifeguard station, that were finished in 1998. The lifeboat station works and trains closely with Port Talbot Coastguard, RNLI Lifeguards and RAF Search & Rescue.

The Thanks of the Institution Inscribed on Vellum was awarded to Robert Vernon Harris for his courage and initiative when he transferred from the lifeboat to another vessel.
