The Serie B is a Mexican association football league. Fifteen teams compete in one group. Since the 2024–25 season, it is two tournament per season. The top 8 teams advances directly to the Liguilla to play for promotion to Liga Premier – Serie A, and the stadium must meet the requirements to promote as well. In the 2020–21 season, Serie B was on hiatus due to COVID-19, but Serie B was reactivated for the 2021–22 season.

• On May 11, 2024 Aguacateros CDU was promoted to Serie A.^[7]
• On May 26, 2024 Yautepec was promoted to Serie B from Liga TDP.^[8][9] On September 5, 2024 the team went on hiatus due to financial problems.^[10]
• On June 28, 2024 C.D. Avispones de Chilpancingo was promoted to Serie A as an expansion team.^[11]
• On June 28, 2024 Cordobés joined the league as an expansion team.^[12]
• On June 28, 2024 Calor and Saltillo were relocated to Serie B from Serie A.^[12]
• On June 28, 2024 Dongu was put on hiatus.
• On June 28, 2024 the league format was modified, the two tournaments per season were reinstated after one year with a single-season tournament.^[13]

• On July 24, 2024 Zitácuaro was promoted to Serie A as an expansion team.^[16]
• On August 20, 2024 Chilangos and Saltillo were put on hiatus.^[14]
• On August 20, 2024 Club Calor was relocated to San Juan de los Lagos, Jalisco.^[14]
