I believe you need to review your comments before rejecting the draft.
Hey Ca,
Thank you for reviewing the draft "Nimesh Gupta" and for your valuable inputs.
I have made the necessary changes, but JFYI there are huge number of articles that uses peacock terms like "leading". I did a considerable research before writing this draft and tried to write this, inline with already existing ones. I believe Wikipedia should follow same rules and policies for everyone. And if others are already accepted then this should also be accepted.
Please let me know if there is any real or other reason to decline this draft.
If your read this draft carefully, it talks exclusively about the contributions made by Dr. Nimesh Gupta in his field, whether it is societal, or research based. The significant work done on Covid has been recognized nationally and internationally. His work has been awarded globally, and that makes him quite a prominent person and eligible for his presence on Wikipedia.
I recommend re-submitting the draft if you feel the draft have been improved enough. I am not familiar with professor articles so I may have missed a major award. Just because another article violates guidelines does not mean it is OK for your article to do it. Catalk to me!05:45, 28 August 2023 (UTC)
Thank you Ca,
Re-submitting it. I completely agree with you, if other article violates guidelines, we should not.
hello, can i add the basic information about this movie , basic information about this movie available on reference. Rongamuwa (talk) 04:05, 26 August 2023 (UTC)
Hello, Ca, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few links to pages you might find helpful:

As you leaves this comment "A lot of the sources are Times of India, which is a questionable source. Many are also mostly about his film, Kerala story, and does not really give biographical details. Many also duplicate information. That leaves these two sources"
I will remove most of Times of India sources and replace them with another reliable source. But as his recent movie Kerala story is in highlights so mostly news sites including that movies name in title or articles related to him. Apart from this controversial movie he has done other films and also have few upcoming projects so he must is be eligible to be on Wikipedia. People already searching for his wikipedia ( as per search suggestions). Even after being controversial, the movie also has a Wiki profile. The Kerala Story
Turns out I was reading WP:DIRECTOR incorrectly. The clause "The person has created or played a major role in co-creating a significant or well-known work or collective body of work." definitely applies here. I had a misconception that a person needed to create multiple significant works, when only one suffices. I will be accepting your draft. I apologize for this. Catalk to me!12:18, 7 August 2023 (UTC)
That's ok, that discussion was started when someone crated this page without proper citations, then I updated it with proper sources. You can check the dates. iVickyChoudhary (talk) 12:28, 7 August 2023 (UTC)
There's no discussion after 20 may 2023, and page was deleted on that day, then I created this page on 25 jun 2023 again with fresh content and sources.iVickyChoudhary (talk) 12:30, 7 August 2023 (UTC)
Since WP:Director does not apply, you need to satisfy WP:GNG. However on my last review, the draft did not. Even the two best sources give barely any information about this filmmaker. So only thing you can do is to find sources that gives a detailed biography of this filmmaker. It should come from source that is not affiliated with Sen and is reliable. Catalk to me!12:33, 7 August 2023 (UTC)
Even the page which is tagged on that discussion isn't even exits now as it's deleted because of poor sources, But I created new page with proper sources, so guide me on this. iVickyChoudhary (talk) 12:40, 7 August 2023 (UTC)
The new sources are still shaky in my opinion. I think the best solution is to add the information about Sen at Kerala Story since Sen is only notable for creating that film.
Thanks for your support,as you are very supporting. If having news articles with his name in title, all over articles then how they are on other topic. Mostly references have based on him and his work. I'm requesting you to check again. iVickyChoudhary (talk) 08:45, 23 August 2023 (UTC)
I always used primary sources on Wikipedia, never faced notability problem before with primary sources. Now as far as I researched there's no secondary sources of this subject. Now what to do now ? iVickyChoudhary (talk) 02:46, 3 September 2023 (UTC)
Are you sure what you know the definition of primary sources? A court document or an interview of the subject would be a primary source. A news article compiling those court documents and interviews to create one cohesive biography of the subject would be a secondary source. Catalk to me!10:19, 3 September 2023 (UTC)
Thanks for clarifying. I published this article previously when it was premature from WP:NACTOR because I had thought WP:ANYBIO or WP:PRODUCER applied. It was deleted without much WP:AFD talk so I thought it may be worth submitting for WP:AFC now. To be clear, I cannot tell from your words if you think this is ready for article space yet. I can remove the Gila Herald and KATO (AM) citations you mentioned if it helps, but if WP:TOOSOON is still a factor, I will let it incubate longer in draftspace. –
Filmforme (talk) 18:18, 31 August 2023 (UTC)
Oh I see, the newspapers are published in generally similar locations. That probably is the same person. However, I don't think the label of "assistant editor" satisfies the guideline WP:EXPERTSPS. Catalk to me!12:01, 1 September 2023 (UTC)
Thanks for the insight. I could not find evidence that another person with their name exists, and at least three of their movies were made in the same county. I do agree that this does fall into presumed, so I’ll keep an eye out for more sources to verify.
Hi CA, In your helpful reply to my draft insert, you noted lack of in-line citations. I had tried to include an array of references backing up content. I put a cluster at the end of one paragraph. But should the citations be included for each statement? Or did you mean something else? Here's the paragraph:
Other Abraham appearances included talks at Convocation ‘82 of Aroostook County, Presque Isle, Maine, at Palm Beach Junior College in Florida and at a PSR chapter-sponsored lecture at Herrick Hospital, in Berkeley, California. At a symposium at the Yale University School of Medicine in 1983, he explored the conflicting traditions of doctors as apolitical advocates for their patients, but also players in public health initiatives: “It is clear that, wanted or not, the crisis of the nuclear age is drawing the medical profession into a historically unprecedented political role.”[1][2][3][4][5][6]
As long as the citations support every claim made in the paragraph, this is fine in my eyes. For clarities sake, adding a in-line citation after every sentence or so is also an option. Catalk to me!00:39, 6 September 2023 (UTC)
Thank you
Thank you so much for helping me with my first publish. I feel like I learned quite a bit from you. You are hands-down the nicest wikipedia editor I've ever interacted with. People like you are what keeps others taking these articles seriously. If you're ever up for it, maybe we can work on another draft together at some point! Informsnow19 (talk) 20:42, 5 September 2023 (UTC)
Thanks for your kind words. Just note that I removed some WP:Original research from your draft. A close examination of the sources revealed that none of them actually claim that Maier is a prince. Since he has a record of faking royal titles, you are going to need a secondary, reliable source for this claim. Catalk to me!13:36, 6 September 2023 (UTC)
Jackson Maier (Ongoing)
Hi — I don’t completely agree with your purge. Looking at the history of the piece here, it seems the author had removed the title from one of the (many) bio intro names. I believe for the hyphenated. Leave the house for now as there’s a bit to figure out there. For example, some of the members of this Dlamini clan are called Nkhosi alone. This may be a more appropriate notation. Faits1789 (talk) 15:26, 6 September 2023 (UTC)
I'm the one who published and did the French translation, he's working in the franco art scene Montréal. Would you like to run through some sugggestions? It could use some work for sure, this type of editing is destructive. Italicizing independent review was good idea. Considering the public interest that section should exist, understanding biographical rules. I removed it so we can work on it together. We just can't make a sanbox out of the actual page. Faits1789 (talk) 16:56, 6 September 2023 (UTC)
Page extended peer community
I resubmitted because I thought I could edit it after submission. I must say the system is not obvious.
How about this incipit:
An Extended peer community is intended by its creators [1][2] as an arrangment at the science policy interface that helps to expand and assess both the knowledge-base and the value-base of policy-making'.[3] Andrea Saltelli Saltean (talk) 17:29, 11 August 2023 (UTC)
@Saltean Hello. I am confused on what you mean by "I resubmitted because I thought I could edit it after submission". There is nothing preventing you from editing drafts after submission? For the new lead, it is an improvement, but it reads like a word salad to me. But it could just be me. I am leaving it up for another reviewer. Cheers, Catalk to me!14:49, 12 August 2023 (UTC)
I am not getting out alive from this, apologies for being dumb. Where is now the page extended peer community? Andrea Saltelli Saltean (talk) 10:47, 14 August 2023 (UTC)
I edited the page again. I also left comments in the talk page. This page is revealing incredibly difficult to publish and I do not understand why, or maybe simply I disagree that it is unclear. I have published several articles where I discuss this concept, and these articles passed peer review. I understand that Wikipedia is not an academic journal and that it aims to be encyclopedic rather than disciplinary, but I frankly see the present version as adequate.

I am not sure if I am reading your question correctly. Are you asking whether you can include opinions in articles? If so, here is my answer: you can include opinions in articles as long as it is sourced to a WP:reliable source and is attributed to whoever said it. However, not all opinions are due for inclusion. see WP:due. Catalk to me!15:57, 9 September 2023 (UTC)
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Kleuske (talk) 11:54, 15 September 2023 (UTC)
@Kleuske You sure you meant to place this tag? I saw that Wikipedia's notability was often referred to as a fuzzy ecosystem, and the target page lacked a shortcut, so I created it. Catalk to me!11:57, 15 September 2023 (UTC)
I was too hasty and have retracted that CSD. Apologies. That being said, I still do not think that is a sensible name for a short-cut. Kleuske (talk) 12:00, 15 September 2023 (UTC)
Yeah, I imagined the shortcut being used in circumstances like "Notability is a WP:FUZZYECOSYSTEM blah blah blah". Also, I think that was the first time someone tagged my creation in under a minute - thats got to be a record for sure . Catalk to me!12:16, 15 September 2023 (UTC)
I usually deal with vandals and spammers, which tend to be clear cut and warrant a speedy reaction. Again, apologies for the inconvenience. Kleuske (talk) 12:20, 15 September 2023 (UTC)
Nice catch - in hindsight, I should have doled out a CoI notice template, but the subject of the draft seemed notable enough that I was willing to forgive some tone issues. I perceieved it not being severe enough to warrant a WP:TNT delete AfD. Catalk to me!16:40, 15 September 2023 (UTC)
Section link
I just saw this edit and wondered about its background. It unnecessarily complicates things as the original link worked perfectly fine. Is this discussed somewhere, or is it now an established guideline that we should do this? -- Valjean (talk) (PING me) 15:18, 15 September 2023 (UTC)
I think using '#' is an unintuitive way of showing where the sections link to, where as § is more common. I believe this is user-friendlier.
Hello, I recently had a draft for Baker Hall that was denied. I was wondering if I could get a bit more of an explanation of why the page was denied. If there are no other sources that aren't independent, is the page not notable enough to exist on wikipedia? Thanks so much for the help! Ty.ard1 (talk) 14:44, 21 September 2023 (UTC)
Hello @Ty.ard1. I declined your article because it did not meet Wikipedia's General Notability Guideline, which was referenced in my decline reason:
This draft's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article. In summary, the draft needs multiple published sources that are:
in-depth (not just passing mentions about the subject)
Near end of article, a racist sentence mentions that student body is mostly White.
....
Reality is, today, though parents of public school students spend $4,000 - $6,000/year on cable tv & cellphones for their household, a high quality K-12 education is not a priority.
Bishopsville SC public school grads fair very poorly compared to Lee Academy private school students.
https://www.niche.com/k12/robert-e-lee-academy-bishopville-sc/ --Flavusmold (talk) 23:11, 21 September 2023 (UTC)
Hello @Flavusmold. I took a look at the source that backs up the claim that "student body is mostly White", and verified it was true from the Associated Press. I am not sure what you are asking for? Catalk to me!03:31, 22 September 2023 (UTC)
Known fact: When race is an irrelevant concern, the author is a racist.
Im requesting that you expell the rumor that racism is a systemic problem in USA.
Do you believe that in Bishopville, SC, there is systemic racism?
Well, the cited source is from 2000, and perhaps the culture has changed since then, though I cannot say for certain. In Wikipedia, every claim needs a reliable source to back it up. (WP:Verifiability) I recommend reading Racism in United States. Again, I am confused on what exactly you want help here. Do you want to make an edit? Catalk to me!12:56, 22 September 2023 (UTC)
In other words, take skin color out of the discussion because education in Bishopville has nothing to do with skin color. It has to do with choices; priorities. Flavusmold (talk) 13:01, 22 September 2023 (UTC)
The paragraph is not about the quality of education though? Again, I don't live in America nor are engrossed in its culture. I am just giving you advice from the article I read. Catalk to me!03:37, 26 September 2023 (UTC)
Backlog update:
At the time of this message, there are 11,300 articles and 15,600 redirects awaiting review. This is the highest backlog in a long time. Please help out by doing additional reviews!
October backlog elimination drive:
A one-month backlog drive for October will start in one week! Barnstars will be awarded based on the number of articles and redirects patrolled. Articles will earn 4x as many points compared to redirects. You can sign up here.
PageTriage code upgrades:
Upgrades to the PageTriage code, initiated by the NPP open letter in 2022 and actioned by the WMF Moderator Tools Team in 2023, are ongoing. More information can be found here. As part of this work, the Special:NewPagesFeed now has a new version in beta! The update leaves the NewPagesFeed appearance and function mostly identical to the old one, but updates the underlying code, making it easier to maintain and helping make sure the extension is not decommissioned due to maintenance issues in the future. You can try out the new Special:NewPagesFeed here - it will replace the current version soon.
Notability tip:
Professors can meet WP:PROF #1 by having their academic papers be widely cited by their peers. When reviewing professor articles, it is a good idea to find their Google Scholar or Scopus profile and take a look at their h-index and number of citations. As a very rough rule of thumb, for most fields, articles on people with a h-index of twenty or more, a first-authored paper with more than a thousand citations, or multiple papers each with more than a hundred citations are likely to be kept at AfD.
Reviewing tip:
If you would like like a second opinion on your reviews or simply want another new page reviewer by your side when patrolling, we recommend pair reviewing! This is where two reviewers use Discord voice chat and screen sharing to communicate with each other while reviewing the same article simultaneously. This is a great way to learn and transfer knowledge.

I am rewriting the draft, can I have your opinion?
Hello / Hi
Can you help me, please? A few days ago I wrote Draft:9801 (disambiguation) and you wrote me that disambiguation with red links (articles that do not exist) are not created on enwikipedia. I rewrote Draft:9801 (disambiguation) and also wrote new page Draft:9801 (bell). Can you please let me know if bell is ok? If bell is ok, will 9801 (disambiguation) be ok too? Thank you for the advice and answers. (Draft:9801 (bell) and Draft:9801 (disambiguation)) Wikram Beckett (talk) 12:06, 29 September 2023 (UTC)
If the bell article is accepted, the disambiguation page may serve a purpose. I recommend removing 9801 – painting by Pablo Siquier though, it is not linked to anything notable Catalk to me!15:12, 29 September 2023 (UTC)
