Thank you for experimenting with Wikipedia. Your test worked, and the page that you created has been or soon will be deleted. Please use the sandbox for any other tests you want to do. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia. If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion," which appears inside of the speedy deletion ( License tagging for File:Haley19.jpgThanks for uploading File:Haley19.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information. To add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 20:08, 14 August 2011 (UTC) Replaceable fair use File:Haley19.jpgThanks for uploading File:Haley19.jpg. I noticed the description page specifies that the media is being used under a claim of fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first non-free content criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed media could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information or which could be adequately covered with text alone. If you believe this media is not replaceable, please:
Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself. If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per our non-free content policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. In many cases, the existing lead image is quite good (having been viewed and reviewed by numerous editors), so "new" lead images are likely to be less good. If an image is already used elsewhere in the article, there is often a reason it is there and not the lead image. Furthermore, recently uploaded images are often copyright violations, and even if not, sometimes get deleted due to uncorrectable licensing issues. Please propose new lead images on the talk page of the article. Gimmetoo (talk) 18:01, 16 October 2011 (UTC) October 2011Hi, Dmurpf2997, and welcome to Wikipedia. I've just taken a closer look at your contributions, and it seems you have ignored numerous warnings about images you are uploading, and you have never used either your own talk page or an article talk page to discuss these matters. It is important that you be able to understand why there are problems with the images you are uploading and that you take measures to correct these problems and avoid repeating them. You should probably stop uploading images until such time as you are able to do that. If you have questions, all you need do is ask. You can use the January 2012This is your last warning. The next time you upload a media file with false or missing copyright or source information, as you did at File:Demi+Lovato+2012+People+Choice+Awards+Red+dpL7O3z1G3Xl.jpg, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Fut.Perf. ☼ 21:25, 28 January 2012 (UTC) SORRY April 2012 You have been blocked temporarily from editing for violating copyright policy by copying text or images into Wikipedia from another source without verifying permission. You have been previously warned that this is against policy, but have persisted, as you did at File:Lindsay Lohan Correspondence.jpg. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the text
{{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} , but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. Fut.Perf. ☼ 08:17, 29 April 2012 (UTC)Orphaned non-free image File:Haley Reinhart's Album Cover.jpgThanks for uploading File:Haley Reinhart's Album Cover.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media). Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 02:30, 11 August 2015 (UTC) |
