Herald 2005 (block log • active blocks • global blocks • contribs • deleted contribs • filter log • creation log • change block settings • unblock • checkuser (log)) Request reason: Apologies for breaching the guidelines for adding information/creating pages. I wasn't previously aware of the need to state a COI, and would be happy to comply if the account is unblocked. This account is associated with Herald St, London and the edits made were relating to artists who are represented by the gallery. The intention of the edits made were purely to provide information about these artists, however it has been made clear that the information provided was often subjective or promotional in tone. It is also now understood that too much of what was posted was unsubstantiated. That which was cited was often taken from too many primary sources including our own website, or unreliable secondary sources. Going forward, if the account is unblocked it will be insured that any edits made are substantiated with good quality secondary sources where ever possible, and any details deemed promotional or not in the public interest be omitted. The intended use of the account would also be to flag/correct any mistakes relating to biographies etc. Thank you. Herald 2005 (talk) 16:05, 21 October 2018 (UTC) Accept reason: You have made a paid-contributions disclosure, which I have recorded at the top of your talk page. You have also explained that you now understand our policies about conflicts of interest. Please ensure that when you edit, your contributions reflect the fact Wikipedia is an encyclopedic work – not a commerical website. You may be re-blocked if you resume contributing in a manner not in keeping with our editorial policies. Please also ensure that your co-workers do not edit from this account. Wikipedia has a one-person, one account policy. Co-workers are welcome to create their own accounts, but they will be required to make a disclosure like yours and will be held to the same standards. See also our connected user accounts policy. You are now unblocked and can resume editing.
