Dan GrabauskasHi, I am the subject of the wiki page. I added what references I found that supported what I added as well as some personal information about my family. Thank you. -Dan Grabauskas - — Preceding unsigned comment added by Thos02139 (talk • contribs) 07:54, 15 October 2012 Use of templatesHi, Hirolovesswords. This edit cannot be considered WP:VANDALISM. Please refrain from adding vandalism templates to an editor's talk page for disagreements over style or content -- as you did here. In fact, when dealing with experienced editors, the general use of templates is frowned upon. You will get a much better reaction by adding a personal note and discussing any disagreements. Good luck with your further editing. — CactusWriter | needles 22:02, 9 December 2009 (UTC) GreetingsExcellent writing. I thought you might like to have these templates. I keep them on my user page and use them to format the references. This way whenever Wikipedia decides to, say, put the publication name in bold or move the date in between the title and author, it can change all one million by just changing the one template. It also formats the url so it is invisible and connects it to the title. As you can see I have added a few to your excellent articles.
Unreferenced BLPsHello Hirolovesswords! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 17 of the articles that you created are Unreferenced Biographies of Living Persons. Please note that all biographies of living persons must be sourced. If you were to add reliable, secondary sources to these articles, it would greatly help us with the current 4 article backlog. Once the articles are adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the list:

I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Al McClellan. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time. Removing AfD nomination of Ray Turnbull (curling)An editor has nominated one or more articles which you have created or worked on, for deletion. The nominated article is Ray Turnbull (curling). We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also Wikipedia:Notability and "What Wikipedia is not"). Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion(s) by adding your comments to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Ray Turnbull (curling). Please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate. Please note: This is an automatic notification by a bot. I have nothing to do with this article or the deletion nomination, and can't do anything about it. --Erwin85Bot (talk) 01:11, 20 February 2010 (UTC) March 2010Please do not add or change content without citing verifiable and reliable sources, as you did to Joseph James, Jr.. It seems you recently created an unreferenced biography of a living person: Doug Brown (sportscaster). The community has decided that all new biographies of living persons must contain a reliable source that supports at least one statement made about the person in the article as per our verifiability policy. Please add references as soon as possible. Thanks! --LaraBot (talk) 00:10, 3 June 2010 (UTC) The article Doug Brown (sportscaster) has been proposed for deletion because under Wikipedia policy, all biographies of living persons created after March 18, 2010, must have at least one source that directly supports material in the article. If you created the article, please don't take offense. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Wikipedia:Referencing for beginners or ask at Wikipedia:Help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Your account has been granted the "reviewer" userright, allowing you to review other users' edits on certain flagged pages. Pending changes, also known as flagged protection, will be commencing a two-month trial at approximately 23:00, 2010 June 15 (UTC). Reviewers can review edits made by users who are not autoconfirmed to articles placed under flagged protection. Flagged protection is applied to only a small number of articles, similarly to how semi-protection is applied but in a more controlled way for the trial. When reviewing, edits should be accepted if they are not obvious vandalism or BLP violations, and not clearly problematic in light of the reason given for protection (see Wikipedia:Reviewing process). More detailed documentation and guidelines can be found here. If you do not want this userright, you may ask any administrator to remove it for you at any time. 'People from Essex County, Massachusetts' in that particular case. Here is a recent talk page discussion[3]. Consensus is that a person doesn't get placed in a parent category and one of its subcategories though if a person lets say had lived in multiple subcategories of the same 'People from Foo County' categories', the person can be categorized by each of the subcategories but not in its parent category....William 12:38, 25 July 2013 (UTC) Also 'Town Managers of Saugus, Massachusetts' is a subcategory of 'People from Saugus, Massachusetts' not the category 'Saugus, Massachusetts' itself. It is well established precedent that 'Mayor of Foo' are subcategories of 'People from Foo'. Therefore all the Saugus city manager articles are overcategorized and I removed the 'People from Saugus, Massachusetts' category from them....William 12:56, 25 July 2013 (UTC)

The DYK project (nominate) 16:04, 3 August 2013 (UTC) Article Feedback Tool updateHey Hirolovesswords. I'm contacting you because you're involved in the Article Feedback Tool in some way, either as a previous newsletter recipient or as an active user of the system. As you might have heard, a user recently anonymously disabled the feedback tool on 2,000 pages. We were unable to track or prevent this due to the lack of logging feature in AFT5. We're deeply sorry for this, as we know that quite a few users found the software very useful, and were using it on their articles. We've now re-released the software, with the addition of a logging feature and restrictions on the ability to disable. Obviously, we're not going to automatically re-enable it on each article—we don't want to create a situation where it was enabled by users who have now moved on, and feedback would sit there unattended—but if you're interested in enabling it for your articles, it's pretty simple to do. Just go to the article you want to enable it on, click the "request feedback" link in the toolbox in the sidebar, and AFT5 will be enabled for that article. Again, we're very sorry about this issue; hopefully it'll be smooth sailing after this :). If you have any questions, just drop them at the talkpage. Thanks! Then, you change your reason, and refer to Wikipedia:NOTDIARY, which you either didn't read or misunderstood. Please only use it for situations of the ilk it refers to -- such as "Not every match played, goal scored or hand shaken is significant enough to be included in the biography of a person." Don't conflate it, due to you first failure, to engage in tendentious editing to delete material that is nothing like that, but in contrast has entire articles devoted to it by high-level RSs.--Epeefleche (talk) 07:55, 26 October 2013 (UTC) Requesting your opinionHi. You've participated in the editing of New England Sports Network. Can you offer your opinion about the inclusion of material in an article that's taking place in this consensus discussion, in which the reliability of that source is one of the issues that was raised (among others)? It would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Nightscream (talk) 18:21, 3 November 2013 (UTC) November 2013Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Michael P. Cahill may have broken the syntax by modifying 2 "[]"s. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.
Thanks, BracketBot (talk) 13:20, 6 November 2013 (UTC) Herbert Tuckerman's Harvard ClubHi. I am Herbert Tuckerman's son and a newbie when it comes to editing articles on Wikipedia. As far as I know, my father was a member of the Porcellian Club at Harvard and NOT the Hasty Pudding. A corner of our living room was dedicated to his collection of porcine knickknacks collected from various sources as tribute to his membership. Now, my father was a somewhat secretive man and I can imagine an unlikely scenario wherein, having been humiliated by being refused membership in the PC, he simply lived the somehow face-saving lie that he had been a member. As I say, this seems to me EXTREMELY unlikely, but would be the only imaginable possibility that I am misinformed on this matter. Should you have evidence to the contrary, I and the rest of my family would be very interested in seeing it! Please see note on your review of Template:Did you know nominations/Francisco Javier Muñiz. The problem is I can't source anything on the coaches prior to 1907. The team list only goes back that far and there does not seem to be anything else available. About five years ago you posted the info in question (diff). I know it's been ages but do you recall your source? Thanks Dontreadalone (talk) 21:44, 29 December 2013 (UTC)
United States Senate election in Massachusetts, 2012Hello, I am trying to promote United States Senate election in Massachusetts, 2012 to good article. I've started a peer review, if you have any available time, would you please comment on it? Thanks, Grammarxxx (What'd I do this time?) 23:49, 2 January 2014 (UTC) Good eveningGood evening-Please review edits I just made. Thanks LacrosseHello, I made significant edits and expanded on Mr. McCormick's Hall of Fame lacrosse career. Please consider withdrawing nomination. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Running12345 (talk • contribs) 04:07, 14 January 2014 (UTC) EditsActually, I feel the edits do qualify. The article states: "College athletes and coaches are notable if they have been the subject of non-trivial media coverage beyond merely a repeating of their statistics," Mr. McCormick is a notable businessman. He has received significant media coverage as result of being a businessman. You can find this coverage within the sources in the article. Mr. McCormick was frequently covered in the Boston Business Journal. Furthermore, as I write, his company, invested in Constant Contact and Boston Duck Tours. In my opinion, Mr. McCormick's unique attributes of being a lacrosse star, business mogul and gubernatorial candidate qualify him as notable. Please consider. Thank you. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Running12345 (talk • contribs) 04:39, 14 January 2014 (UTC) McCormickI write to appeal your AFD request for the Jeff McCormick page. Per my review, McCormick does follow the wikipedia guidelines on notability because in addition to being founder of a venture capital firm, national lacrosse champion and political candidate, he is also a chairman of a large performing arts center and philanthropist. Please overturn your request to comply with wikipedia's code. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Dodo2921 (talk • contribs) 20:58, 18 January 2014 (UTC) I replied to your comments on my dyk nom. --Coemgenus (talk) 18:40, 23 January 2014 (UTC) DYK for Joseph Roby

EagerToddler39 (talk) 16:56, 26 January 2014 (UTC) Richard FeildenFYI puffery is "Words ...used without attribution to promote the subject of an article, while neither imparting nor plainly summarizing verifiable information." Considering the information about Feilden's father and uncle and the information about Feilden's "greatest achievement" were cited to/verifiable in reliable newspaper sources (and greatly abbreviated versions of the actual texts) it seems counter-productive to remove them. As you've probably seen, I've added back and reworded the statement, or rather I've used the exact words of the article. Surely the purpose of Wikipedia articles is to describe the subject's important achievements? Sionk (talk) 01:43, 30 January 2014 (UTC) DYK for Charles Henry Bond

I have automatically detected that your edit to Joe Atwell may have broken the syntax by modifying 1 "[]"s and 1 "{}"s likely mistaking one for another. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

The DYK project (nominate) 08:02, 2 February 2014 (UTC) 3RRYou've violated WP:3RR and rather than reporting you, I'll allow you to self-revert your previous edit. The list as it was, was organized by decade. Not the best organization yet as I haven't fixed the years yet but it was sorted by decade. So please self-revert, or I'll begin a discussion at the 3RR noticeboard. Gloss • talk 07:25, 10 February 2014 (UTC)
