You'd need to find many reliable sources both confirming that fact and establishing how it's significant enough to warrant her own article. Jjj, any chance you could be so kind as to add Serbia in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest to your watchlist? So far in the last 2 weeks, 4 IP's and 1 user have added very large chunk of content that is unsourced, poorly written, and excessive in statistical data, like the ones made in this edit. The additions do not comply with manual of style guidelines, nor layout guidelines that Project Eurovision are currently following. Also all of the Junior Country articles are under-going a major "facelift" and being brought up to a high standard. Feel free to have a look at the ones I've managed to restructure so far, Albania, Belarus, and Israel. Serbia and Montenegro.was a unique one as they have only taken part once and never again as a joint-nation, so I worked on that as if it were a country and a country by year article. Also there is now an article dedicated to the Kids Jury, seeing as they are becoming notable in their own right for the contest. And the article is being treated as if the jury were a country, even though they are not. Anyway, thanks for your assistance in keeping an eye on the Serbia article, and if you do spot any vandalism, then please revert the user/IP and issue them with a harsh warning if required, because they are clearly not listening to the softer warnings. Thanks, Jjj. I don't want to sound like I'm blowing my own trumpet here, but I think the article has improved quite a lot now:

• Basic state
• vandalised version
• major restructured version

Hopefully that should fend off the vandals wanting to add unsourced material. I wouldn't mind but the stuff they are trying to add would be better off on annual articles for Serbia, as the content regards national selections. I know that rule #9 says that the corresponding performer "has won first, second or third place in a major music competition". Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2016 is where she got second place. Before that, Anahit also participated in The Voice Kids reached the top 3 in a contest created by Igor Krutoy entitled The Battle of Talents, which unfortunately doesn't have an article just yet. Oh, and take a look at Anahit's cover of the Swedish entry from Eurovision Song Contest 2014, which was a third placer. In other words, Anahit Adamyan and Sanna Nielsen are two people that reached the Top 3 at their respective events part of the Eurovision family. Look at the other articles of recent JESC contests (in addition to the early ones). Placing high does not constitute notability in these shows, and neither does participating in a kids version of The Voice and especially a show without an article. You can't sign up to be used as a source. If an editor sees your articles and thinks that they could be appropriately used to source something on Wikipedia, then they'll do so. The only way to get yourself used as a source is to expand the notability of your website so an editor has a better chance of seeing it. Right, so I'm trying to tell you that it is worth checking the validity of added information before cleaning it up. The problem is that after your cleanup the addition disappears in 3 scenarios: 1) flagged revisions, 2) Cluebot queue (which is fed to the antivandalism tools like HG and Stiki) and 3) any lists that are filtered by registered/anon users. That's why it's added in small format and in brackets, I'd suggest you to check out pages like: Mother Teresa; Ardian Bujupi etc. where this same thing is used

Just because it's on other articles does not mean it's correct. Birthplace is not meant to show the current country, it's meant to show where they were born. She is a three time pageant winner and one of the most well known advocates for Autism. She was honored by New Jersey. What is the issue with the article that would cause you to flag it?

Judging by your message it seems that you have a close connection with the subject and that you are not a neutral editor, which is strictly forbidden. Also, LaCosta does not seem to pass our general notability guidelines in my opinion. The article is also poorly sourced. I follow all of the local pageants in the state of New Jersey, it's awfully rude to automatically assume I am "affiliated" with her. If YOU did your research you would see the pageant is run by people in Pennsylania and I reside in NJ. My son has Autism and Ms. LaCosta has led the fight in great things for those with Autism in New Jersey. I'm sorry if you have no affiliation to Autism but for those of us who fight for rights, her work means a lot. I don't know your definition of "notable," but anyone who has been awarded by the state for selfless work and was an international spokesperson seems pretty notable to me. Additionally, the things I have corrected and cited were from PUBLIC articles I found about her. Not once did I give an "opinion," and everything cited is FACT, what isn't neutral? Please explain how it is "poorly sourced" when every single thing has a link to a public article or site. In that regard, I followed the guidelines. I don't know why you're taking this so personally. You're acting like if her Wikipedia article gets deleted then she'll no longer exist. I don't know who LaCosta is but from what you've said she seems like a great person, but being a great person doesn't automatically get you a Wikipedia page. We'll discuss whether she can get an article, and if we decide that she doesn't then I hope you can respect the decision. No, not everything was sourced. Sources in other languages are allowed, but it's preferred to have English-language sources on the English Wikipedia. I deleted most of the stuff because it was unencyclopedic, but many things weren't sourced anyways. For example, you can't have a gallery of album covers on an artist page, as those non-free images belong solely on the album pages. While some things may be acceptable on other language Wikipedias, they are not always acceptable on English Wikipedia. I hope this helps. 11:10, 6 March 2017 (UTC)

Ok, but it is really hard to learn what is unencyclopedic if just all gets deleted :) I checked other bands like Muse and Fall out boy and tried to write something similar with information that I had, stating only specific facts, like who did what and when. If you can give any more pointers, I would prefer reediting that material to meet the encyclopedic standards. If you bork the JSON syntax somehow, it will not let you save so, it should be easy to spot what was borked.

I have noticed an edit war going on at Eurovision Song Contest 2018 between yourself and User:So Hood. As you are now an experienced editor, you should be well aware now of edit warring, and more importantly avoiding the 3-revert rule. First of all I didn't see my changes as an edit war on Eurovision Song Contest 2018 between us. So I'm gonna explain the recent edits: About Czech Republic: There are discussions going on about a participation in the future. If we took this as a source for next year, we could already use it as a source for the next 20 years which doesn't make any sense. Also: Eurovoix, the source itself published this article on 16th May. Just yesterday (30th June), when this source confirmed the Swiss participation, it did NOT include the Czech Republic in the list of confirmed countries which means there were no particular talks about the 2018 contest. About Ireland: A Eurovision commentator who tells a newspaper about things that might be discussed by the broadcaster or not should not be taken as an "official source", that's why Ireland got removed also and that's also why relatable sources like Eurovoix don't mention Ireland in the list. As much as I also like to have as many countries as possible in the list for 2018 already, Wikipedia should not be used as a playground to spread false or unconfirmed information. Thank you. Okay, but years ago when we changed the heading to provisional interest, we began not requiring an "official confirmation" from countries, and it became a place to jot down the countries who just showed interest in participating. Eurovoix's list is for officially confirmed countries, ours is not. It's for interested countries. That's why I added Czech Republic and Ireland back. The Czech Republic's source also particularly makes me think it should stay as it's pretty much a confirmation to me. @Alex Duilius: Listen, I threatened you because you weren't listening to what I'm saying. I am a prominent editor at WP:Eurovision as well, and we had issues like this there too. Sources conflicted between individual third-party websites and the official Eurovision website, and decided that the official website should reign supreme. This is no different here. You claiming that Miss Bolivia being 6'4 is incorrect has no substance. Is it because you personally don't think she looks 6'4? Well that's original research. Is it because you see another source that lists here as 5'8? Well that's directly violating the idea that the official websites should trump smaller unaffiliated websites. Do you understand how many times I've read at third-party websites that a certain state titleholder for Miss USA would go on to compete at Miss America? Third-party websites, especially those that don't have much of a reputation, can be wrong, and often are wrong. If you keep readding her height as 5'8 I will continue giving you warnings and eventually have to report you. Neither of us want that, so if you're so adamant on changing the height, then take it to the talk page, like a normal Wikipedia editor. @Alex Duilius: Here's the thing. We cannot simply assume that there will be articles about something and use that as a basis for a fact being incorrect. That's not how Wikipedia works. Yes, it is true that the Miss Universe profiles are unfinished. However, none of these stats are set in stone. If the website changes her height, then we can change it here too. It's not that difficult. However, we also can't simply assume information is wrong purely because the profiles are unfinished. As for your third point, I'll go back to what I said earlier (and the editor's note I added to the article): MUO is the most supreme source for Miss Universe articles. This is similar to the how the United States Constitution is the supreme law of the United States. MUO has all the information on each contestant, and there's no way to simply assume their information is wrong. They are much more likely to have correct statistics on contestants than a third-party source. This is what was done for Big Brother and Eurovision Song Contest in the past, it's just protocol. I'd like to ask you to please keep things the way they are now, and if new information begins appearing then I'd be happy to change things back. As for the linking, I've never really thought about it, as this is how pretty much every pageant titleholder's article goes.
