Hi TheCarch! I noticed your contributions and wanted to welcome you to the Wikipedia community. I hope you like it here and decide to stay.
As you get started, you may find this short tutorial helpful:
I happen to have C-5 galaxy on my watchlist
This is not vandalism [1], that is actually how the plane has been nicknamed in USAF units.
Although probably not worth mentionning in the first sentence. Raminagrobis (talk) 15:22, 1 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Hi - I noticed you used the archiver effectively for single discussions on Talk:Seattle Kraken, so I installed it in my script files. But it isn't clear to me how to activate it on a talk page. I went to edit Talk:Tofu, for example, highlighted one topic, and do not see a left margin or other tool to make the archiver work. Instructions? Thanks. Zefr (talk) 20:43, 4 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks. As easy as it should be and as other common tools work, this one isn't performing for me. Reinstalled and cache cleared. May be a Chrome OS issue. Appreciate your prompt reply. Zefr (talk) 00:58, 5 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Hello, The Carch I hope you are having a good weekend and I do not mean to take up your time but I wanted to talk about the vandalism on the MJF Wikipedia page. It was not my intention to vandalize the page, I just wanted to add more information about the Adam Cole and MJF storyline and explain MJF's apparent good guy/babyface turn. My Apologies. ManBreeze2002 (talk) 22:28, 9 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
No don't worry man you have nothing to apologize for or worry about. I have autism so sometimes I can get a little emotional about stuff and take stuff too seriously, its not your fault. thank you and I appreciate you taking the time to talk to me. Hello, when adding archiving code as you did at Talk:Nucleolus, please use an automated archive box (auto=yes) rather than a manual one, so that if/when the bot goes to a new archive, it is automatically linked without manual intervention. I've gone through a few of your earlier archiving efforts and cleaned them up (in particular moving the new text at Talk:Pac-Man/Archive 1 to Talk:Pac-Man/Archive 3 where it belongs) and also added a proper archive box to your talk page to make your archive easier to find. I basically agree with the comments SnowFire has previously made to you regarding your archiving pratcices; just because old threads are a problem for you, it doesn't mean they're problematic for anyone else. Okay, but you should not be doing that. Please stop. I was rather blunt before but apparently I needed to be blunter: these one-click archiver edits are not helping, and are not good. The whole point of talk pages is for... talk discussions to be there. "Cleaning" them indiscriminately fundamentally doesn't get the point of them. Talk page notices are one way editors flag long-term problems or questions with an article, and merely because someone hasn't responded doesn't mean that they need to be archived. I do not understand why you are doing this to articles you don't appear to be editing in the first place - just because you're not using the talk page doesn't mean nobody else is. SnowFire (talk) 01:37, 9 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
If you're bored on Wikipedia, go and ... do something else besides Wikipedia. We'll always be there when you get back. Your recent edits to Talk:Rajiv Malhotra were particularly useless and I've reverted them as such (along with deleting the second archive created as a result). The "minthreadsleft" parameter of the most commonly used archive bot, Lowercase sigmabot III, defaults to five, and you should respect that. You might find the guidance for younger editors useful. Yeah but when I tried to add fasolasuchus to 65 page some guy reverted it saying it wasn’t reliable so every source says it is one TheCarch (talk) 03:43, 9 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please review Wikipedia's guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text to the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.
Your above reply, which you failed to note refers to the film 65, shows that you do not have the maturity to contribute here. Letting you continue to edit would be a waste of both your time and that of the Wikipedia community at this point. Graham87 (talk) 05:35, 9 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
