Hi, Uxepat. :) Just wanted to let you know that I've blanked the bulk of that article for copyright problems. I didn't want to take action on the speedy concerns because it was brought to my attention as a problem on my user page, and I feared I might be predisposed. I try not to mix my copyright hat with other hats. Anyway, I tried to make clear in edit summary that I have no objection to speedy deletion, but if the speedy is declined for any reason want to be sure that the copyvio leaves publication unless we get permission. :) --Moonriddengirl ^(talk) 22:18, 3 August 2015 (UTC)

Hi Ukexpat -- you recently made an edit to Jesinoski v. Countrywide Home Loans, Inc. in which you changed the second and third mention of Justice Antonin Scalia to just "Scalia" (without the word "Justice" preceding his name). I was wondering if you could direct me to a section in the MOS that recommends referring to judges (or other similarly situated individuals) by their last name alone?

In most scholarly publications in legal academia, Supreme Court justices (and other judges in lower courts) are almost always referred to "Justice Smith," "Justice Jones," or "Judge McDonald," even if they have been mentioned earlier in the article. See, for example, this article. Consequently, I I think the term "Justice" likely falls into the category of terms that are "so commonly attached to" names in scholarship that they should be used every time the article refers to that individual. -- Notecardforfree (talk) 16:38, 10 August 2015 (UTC)

As Mr.Wang’s very close and long-time friend, only me who has opportunities of follow his experience in both US and China for decades, and also only me who is able to understand the languages that introduced him in both English and Chinese, this is the reason, I has initialized the article and been kept it updated. I think it would be more beneficial to keep the article alive and to continue improve it for better. I feel there has a few reasons: At first, Wang’s story have been continually appeared in a number of TV program, book, magazine; journal; records in Chinese since 1980s of last century. Those information presented in the article all can be verified from public resources. Secondly, because his unique life story from a country boy to be a scholar is considered as a miniature and epitome of a Chinese history period that communist has ruled for more than last 60 years. Thirdly, Wang’s experience from a bio-scientist to bio-related entrepreneur, is the products of the times, that reflects and somehow represents the trend of the times and the tendency of 21st century’s industry development; thirdly Wang spent a half time of his life in china and another half in America, he is a kind of symbolic figure for millions of American Chinese who contributed to both country and he is a good example of the United States as a national,culture and idea melting pot for people who coming from all over the world. Fourthly, since the article lunched in 2010, it has been 6 years,and during this period, I can see from the view history where has more 20 editors whom you might be included, had appreciable time to correct it, improve it and make it better and better. A deletion is a simple and quick action, but it would waste all those valuable efforts and precious time. At last, I found that your last modification has removed the most controversial paragraphs which I had added a few days ago, and so the article already returned to the before that the version has existed 6 years. Maintenance templates are not added or removed automatically, they can be manually removed when the issue(s) has been dealt with. In this case we would like to see a few more references - I had to remove the reference citing the German Wikipedia - we cannot use Wikipedia as a reference. I also made some clean up edits to conform to the English Wikipedia's manual of style. You need to look at the beginning of the second paragraph - I think something got lost in translation.--ukexpat (talk) 19:11, 18 August 2015 (UTC)

I am in the the Communications Office at Ringling College and have edited our page (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ringling_College_of_Art_and_Design) twice now, but someone keeps undoing the edits saying they are copyright violation. This is not copyright violation - this came from Ringling College. Please explain how to keep the changes I made. I am making these on behalf of the College and all copy is factual and relevant.

Hello. I have a new name for editing Wikipedia because I hadn't edited for a while and forgot my password. This had happened once before, so I actually have edited under three names now... Kathryn Klos and Kathrynklos, as well as Squirrelwhisperer. If there's a way to consolidate my names, I'd like that, as I am proud of some of the things I've worked on.
