Something Something TitleI actually find myself giving less and less of a fuck in following up on the events of the other day, didn't even read whatever the latest post was. Consider this a Wikibreak notice. ValarianB (talk) 12:21, 7 October 2022 (UTC) Should have known that this dumpster fire, User:May1787, was a sock of someone. Oh well. Trump Talk revertRegarding your revert [1], I made the redaction because the item is a defamatory implication by a Wikipedia editor that is not in the source. Why do you think it is a pretend BLP violation? Bob K31416 (talk) 16:25, 12 January 2023 (UTC)
Hello, I just wanted to address the edit summary that you left at Bill O'Brien. Please read the article referenced, as ESPN is going off anonymous sources. Anonymous sources are the equivalent of WP:GOSSIP and are not considered reliable. A website itself may be considered reliable under normal circumstances, but they may still publish articles that are speculative. Please do not update O'Brien's position unless announced by the Patriots or O'Brien himself. Hey man im josh (talk) 18:31, 24 January 2023 (UTC)
Warning for HoundingIt looks like you may have followed me to a few different threads to wrongly cast aspersions that I am a WP:SPA. I would appreciate it if you would be willing to WP:AGF and strike your series of comments. Randy Peck (talk) 23:04, 1 February 2023 (UTC)

Mention of you at the TeahouseHello! I pinged you at the Teahouse but realized that the ping feature is disabled for you. Someone whose edit you reverted wants to discuss your revert. Happy editing! —asparagusus (interaction) sprouts! 21:32, 10 October 2023 (UTC)
Resending/posting my invitation to the Barack Obama article talk page. This is a resending/reposting of the message that I posted on this page a day and a half ago, that I accidentally posted as a reply to another editor, so I don't know whether you have read it: Hello. I just found out that the ping feature is disabled for you. I had tried to ping you at the talk page of the Barack Obama article. @Asparagusus kindly suggested that if I start a discussion about your revert of my edit, on the article's talk page, I should invite you, so here I am, inviting you. I sincerely do want to be a better editor and I would appreciate any advice you can give me. I also sincerely think that my edit was a good one. Polar Apposite (talk) 02:22, 14 October 2023 (UTC)

Feedback on approaching requested movesHi there, I didn't want to bring the discussion off topic but I was hoping to get some feedback for going forward and explain my reasoning. If I started a requested move without discussion, I can see two problems: it is unilateral and not in the spirit of a collaborative wiki, and better alternatives may be suggested midway through, obstructing the process. For the latter, it's better to have some prior discussion, brainstorming alternatives. If I outright start a discussion brainstorming suggestions, however, this is again unilateral, and has skipped a step of assessing if the community sees a need for brainstorming alternatives. Hence my post. The current post is muddled, as it invites discussion of a) is there an issue and b) what are the alternatives. Having both conversations concurrently naturally invites a third discussion, c) are the alternatives better than the current title, which should be discussed at an RM unless it's exceptionally obvious. I am not sure how to best achieve these outcomes, or if indeed these are the outcomes that should be pursued. Hope this makes sense, Rollinginhisgrave (talk) 23:27, 15 November 2024 (UTC) ArbCom 2024 Elections voter messageHello! Talk: Donald Trump lead sentence discussionHi ValarianB, I hope this message finds you well. I wanted to reach out about a consensus debate currently happening on Donald Trump’s page, as it mirrors a similar situation we encountered during Joe Biden’s presidency. Four years ago, we agreed on a consensus to keep the lead sentence format, which I believe was both fair and sensible. Specifically, the line for Joe Biden was: "...who has been the 46th and current president of the United States since 2021." Looking back, I see that you were in favor of maintaining this as the status quo. I believe we should apply this same structure to Donald Trump’s page, just as we did for Joe Biden and Barack Obama before him, to ensure consistency and clarity. This format clearly conveys the order ("47th"), incumbency ("current"), and start date ("since 2025"), which helps maintain uniformity across presidential biographies. Given your involvement and support in that earlier consensus, your insights would be incredibly valuable in the current discussion. It’s important that we uphold the same standards regardless of the officeholder, and I’d appreciate it if you could weigh in, share your thoughts, and cast a vote. Here is the current discussion and vote underway: Talk:Donald Trump, Superseding consensus #50, sentences 1 and 2 Thanks a lot, and I hope you’ll consider contributing.
