Just a note here. When you start a new article on an aircraft-related subject, like an aircraft or engine type, you can list them at Wikipedia:New articles (Aircraft) so they will get peer reviewed by WP:AIR members. It helps make them better quicker! - Ahunt (talk) 02:06, 24 February 2017 (UTC)
G'day all, please be advised that throughout March 2017 the Military history Wikiproject is running its March Madness drive. This is a backlog drive that is focused on several key areas:
- tagging and assessing articles that fall within the project's scope
- updating the project's currently listed A-class articles to ensure their ongoing compliance with the listed criteria
- creating articles that are listed as "requested" on the project's various task force pages or other lists of missing articles.
As with past Milhist drives, there are points awarded for working on articles in the targeted areas, with barnstars being awarded at the end for different levels of achievement.
The drive is open to all Wikipedians, not just members of the Military history project, although only work on articles that fall (broadly) within the military history scope will be considered eligible. More information can be found here for those that are interested, and members can sign up as participants at that page also.
The drive starts at 00:01 UTC on 1 March and runs until 23:59 UTC on 31 March 2017, so please sign up now.

There are two obvious answers to this question from your userpage:
- First, it is an extremely common feature of many human endeavors to strive towards a goal that is unobtainable; this includes both e.g. the scientific effort to strive to understand the laws that govern the universe even though a comprehensive understanding will never be achieved, and the Christian effort to strive to live a holy life even though sin is inevitable.
- Second, it is the essence of not being an asshole to try to not offend the people one comes in contact with, and to understand their perspectives. Presumably you accept that it is proper to try not to be an asshole to some of the people you interact with in your life, and there is no good reason to tightly restrict this group.
