Axel Erland Sjöblad (born 3 November 1967) is a Swedish former handball player who won the 1990. He also competed in the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona where Sweden won silver medals. He was primarily a defensive player.

He started his career at Lugi in 1985, where he played until 1992.[1] He then joined French side UMS Pontault-Combault HB.

In 1992 he was a member of the Swedish handball team which won the silver medal. He played all seven matches and scored five goals.
