Hannah Dineen
Hannah Dineen Cotter is a former camogie player. Playing careerShe starred for University College Galway in their 1964 Ashbourne Cup success, their first for 14 years, and was again for U.C.G. in their unsuccessful Ashbourne Cup final of 1965. It (the Ashbourne Cup) led on to a college camogie player of the year award in January 1966. Anna was a captain on the Club Championship winning Team of 1972, the seventh or eighth year that this happened.[1] Hannah Dineen Reed had previously won County camogie Medals in 1970 and 1971. The club's fourth of the run in 1973 was competed under the Married name and she has since had grandchildren.[2] In 1970 she featured on the club Team that won the year's junior provincial honours and retained her place for the subsequent four in a row and two more subsequent finals over the following eight years before retiring in 1978. Cotter's latest officially recognised appearance was in the 1977-78 final. She was involved with SPSP Past Pupils PP Camogie Club.
