Hans Aarsman
Wikimedia Commons has media related to Hans Aarsman. Hans Aarsman (born 27 December 1951)[1] is a Dutch photographer, author, and lecturer at the Rijksakademie in Amsterdam. His work is held in the collections of the Netherlands Photo Museum, Rijksmuseum and Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam.[1][2][3] Life and workAarsman was born in 1951 in Amsterdam.[1] He started his career as a photojournalist for the Dutch newspaper Trouw. In 1989 he published the book Hollandse Taferelen which consisted of landscapes photographed from the roof of a camper which he pulled through the Netherlands for a year. In 1990–1991 he finished a photo series of East German states. As of 2004[update] he was an editor of the magazine Useful Photography.[4] Aarsman also is a novelist and playwright.
