Hayden Kho
Hayden Dela Santa Kho Jr. (born May 20, 1980) is a Filipino aesthetic medicine doctor, media personality, politician and entrepreneur.[2][3][4] Early life and educationHayden dela Santa Kho Jr. was born on May 20, 1980 in the Philippines to parents Hayden Kho Sr., a Chinese doctor, and Irene dela Santa, a Spanish-Filipina businesswoman.[citation needed] He spent his early years at Grace Christian High School (now Grace Christian College) in Quezon City.[1] Kho studied at the University of Santo Tomas, earning a bachelor's degree in medical technology in 2001 and a medical degree in 2005.[5] He completed his internship at the Makati Medical Center, where he also served as president of the interns' association.[6] He earned his medical license in 2007.[7] Modeling and Television careerAt 16, Kho began his modeling career, appearing in runway shows locally and internationally, including the United States, Singapore, South Korea, and Japan.[citation needed] In 2007, he began his career on television in the Philippines as an actor, appearing on Celebrity Duets, and taking on supporting roles for GMA Network.[citation needed] Kho was the focus of public controversy in 2009, involving his alleged participation in a sex scandal that garnered widespread attention and became a subject of national interest. As a result, criminal and civil cases were filed against him by one of the involved parties, Filipina actress Katrina Halili, with whom he had partnered on Celebrity Duets. This caused him to face the Senate for a public trial on national television, affecting his show business career.[8] Medical career
Kho was trained in cosmetic medicine at the Belo Medical Group.[9] He also continued on to pursue training in anti-aging medicine through the European Anti-Aging Medicine Society.[citation needed] Entrepreneurial endeavoursKho oversaw the distribution of ZO Skin Health medical-grade cosmeceuticals in the Philippines[10][11] and introduced "Hayden Fragrances", his own perfume brand.[12] Kho serves as both Managing Director for Belo Medical Group and President of Venn Intelligent Aesthetics.[13] He established Venn Intelligent Aesthetics in 2017, a venture focusing on marketing and distributing cosmetic medicine, surgical instruments, cosmeceuticals, injectables, and devices.[14] In 2021, Kho expanded his business portfolio by making an investment in the Swiss-based watch brand, Vanguart.[15] Kho is a board member for the non-profit Right Start Foundation[16] and supports various other philanthropic causes.[17] Spiritual and personal lifeKho converted to Christianity in 2013. Kho met Christian apologist Ravi Zacharias at an event hosted by the Christ's Commission Fellowship (CCF) in Manila.[18] He later became an active member of Christ's Commission Fellowship.[19] To further his knowledge on Christianity, Kho attended the Oxford Centre for Christian Apologetics to study Christian apologetics, where he was tutored by Christian sociologist and author Os Guinness; scientist, mathematician and philosopher John Lennox; theologian and author Alister McGrath; and Jay Smith. In September 2017, Kho married his long-time partner Vicki Belo in Paris.[20] In 2018, he continued his studies in Christian apologetics.[21] Television
