Truman Hanks
Truman Hanks (born December 26, 1995) is an American actor and cinematographer. The son of actors Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson, he has acted as young Otto in A Man Called Otto, Asteroid City, and We're Already There.[1] Early lifeTruman Hanks is the fourth child of Tom Hanks, and the second child born to Hanks and actress Rita Wilson.[2] Truman attended The Thacher School from 2010 to 2014. He later joined Stanford University, majoring in mathematics.[3] CareerActingHanks played a young version of Tom Hanks in the 2022 Marc Forster film, A Man Called Otto, based on the 2012 novel A Man Called Ove (novel). The film was produced by Rita Wilson.[4][5] Forster suggested Hanks for the role, saying, "It’s always so fake to get somebody else to come in and play you, ‘cause they never look right. Could maybe Truman do this?"[6] Of casting his son to play a younger version of himself, Tom said, "It's what all of our kids grew up in. We have four kids — they're all very creative, they're all involved in some brand of storytelling."[7] In January 2025 it was announced he would be starring in Comedy drama film, We're Already There.[8] Other workHe served as additional photography on Marvel's Black Widow (2021 film), as well as being a director of photography assistant on West Side Story (2021 film), and a film loader on Asteroid City.[9] He also interned for J.
