MC Pharaoh (Chinese: 孙权; pinyin: Sun Quan) (born October 11, 1992, in Haining City, Zhejiang Province) is a Chinese rapper and songwriter.
Career
In 2017, he released the single "Close Lover." Pharaoh participated in the show "The Rap of China" but was eliminated during the 60-second solo performance stage for performing a song with an overly long intro.[1] He signed with the AFSC hip-hop label and released the EP "Lone Ranger."
In 2020, he served as a mentor on the rap show "Listen to My Rap."[2] He also released the album "Science Fiction."
In 2021, he returned as a mentor for the second season of "Listen to My Rap."[3]
Public service activities
On May 24, 2023, Pharaoh donated all proceeds of his solo tour, totaling 1.29 million yuan, to the "Volunteer Veterans Assistance Program" under the People's Volunteer Army of China.[4]
