Gooseberry released his first EP, Venus, in October 2022 on his KoolAid Baby label.[5] In the same year he collaborated on a song with Fetty Wap.[6]
In 2024, Gooseberry's track "Lose You," in collaboration with Ariel Houston, sister-in-law of Whitney Houston, was ranked #1 on iTunes in the world music category.[7]
In September 2023, Gooseberry had brain surgery for trigeminal neuralgia, which was conducted by Dr. James Liu from Rutgers New Jersey Medical School.[10][11] The event led him to engage in philanthropy, focusing on brain health and recovery support.
